The restaurant industry is fraught with risks, challenges, and also a great deal of celebrations.
Yesterday, one of the greats in Illinois, The Neat Kitchen in Westmont, Illinois announced it would be closing.
The Neat Kitchen was the result of a great vision from Jason Van Lente of Drury Lane fame and his partners.
The food could best be defined as casual haute cuisine. It was served in a setting which welcomed families, millennials and seniors in an upbeat, fast paced environment with beautiful decor.
The wine, beer and spirits lists were expertly curated and offered seemingly endless options. One could enjoy a cask aged cocktail served to you by the warm bartending team.
Thank you Neat Kitchen for bringing all this sophistication to the dining community without any of the pretense and nonsense sometimes associated with this level of quality.
We are sure that someone will carry on your legacy.
Thank you for 5 beautiful years in Westmont, Illinois.
